NSNA Spring Clean-Up
When: Saturday, April 21st, 8am-Noon (annually, with UNL’s “The Big Event!”)
Where: Bring your stuff to dumpsters at Lincoln High Northwest Parking Lot
What: Garbage, appliances, household trash, litter, clothing, metal, recyclables construction materials and tires
Why: A FREE event to help end litter and illegal dumping in the NSNA and recycle!

The Lighting Of Goodhue Boulevard
On December 24th, 2011, NSNA members and Near South neighbors served the community placing luminarias on Goodhue Boulevard from “A” Street to the Capitol

Flatwater Shakespeare at First Plymouth

NSNA Ice Cream Social
[ July 15, 2011; 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm. ] Near South Neighborhood Association will hold its annual ice cream social in conjunction with the Prescott Summer Festival on Friday July 15th. The festival begins at 5:30 PM and will be held at Prescott School 1930 S. 20th. Ice Cream will be served at 7:00PM.

Tour of Homes
[ May 8, 2011; 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm. ] The biennial NSNA Near South Home Tour will be held again this year on Mother’s Day, 8 May 2011. Ticket holders will be given access to some of the most beautiful and interesting historic homes in the area.
