Activities

The Near South Neighborhood Association (NSNA) was formed in 1972 by thirty households who wanted their neighborhood to have an active voice in the formation of the city's comprehensive plan. Thirty five years later, the NSNA continues to represent the neighborhood with a strong, active voice in city government and neighborhood zoning issues.

One of Lincoln's oldest and strongest neighborhood associations, NSNA is involved in a variety of neighborhood issues and projects such as revitalization, development of green space, promotion of preservation/ restoration, and social events and meetings.

NSNA Annual Meeting and Potluck will be October 25, 2009, 5:30 PM at 1st Plymouth Church (20th and D St).
